The RO Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Matteo Scabbia as Head of Property Management. In his new role, Matteo will be based at the company's London office and will work across the Group's extensive real estate portfolio.
Matteo brings a wealth of experience to the RO Group, having previously served as a Property Asset Manager at Sorbon Estates, where he started his career. He demonstrated considerable proficiency in overseeing a diverse portfolio, including office, retail, and industrial assets. Noteworthy accomplishments include successfully leasing 17,000 sq. ft. of retail and leisure space in a development located in the South East and skilfully navigating property conversions after tenant departures during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At Sorbon Estates, Matteo also spearheaded the review of utilities for the entire portfolio, securing favourable contracts well before the recent cost of living crisis, resulting in substantial cost savings. His expertise also extended to managing a £10m rent roll, where he significantly reduced voids and maximised income.
